PART 1  WARNINGS
Hurricane Force Wind Warning issued by Brisbane at 050648UTC for the area within
150NM of Tropical Cyclone Jasmine centred near 17.2S 154.1E.

PART 2  SITUATION
At 050600UTC.       
Monsoon trough 19S147E to TC Jasmine [983hPa] near 17.2S 154.1E to 19S170E. TC
Jasmine is forecast to intensify and be near 17.1S 156.2E at 051800UTC and 17.3S
158.6E at 060600UTC. 

PART 3  FORECAST
Within Warning Area.
Maximum winds to 50 knots near the centre, increasing to 65 knots by 051800UTC
with high seas and heavy confused swells. 
Winds above 34 knots within 150NM in NE and NW quadrants, and within 60NM in SE
and SW quadrants with very rough seas and heavy confused swells. Rain areas,
scattered showers and thunderstorms. 

Northeast of a line Eq148E to 10S170E.
NE to NW winds 10 to 20 knots with slight to moderate seas. Scattered showers
and isolated thunderstorms.
 
Elsewhere north of monsoon trough.   
NW winds 15 to 25 knots north of 10S with moderate to rough seas. SW to NW 20 to
30 knots south of 10S, reaching 25 to 33 knots within 180NM of warning area with
rough to very rough seas. Winds south of 16S west of 150E NW to SW 10 to 20
knots. Moderate to heavy W to NW swells. Rain areas, scattered showers and
thunderstorms with squalls.

South of monsoon trough, within 100NM of warning area.
NE to SE winds 20 to 33 knots. Rough to very rough seas and moderate swells.
Showers and isolated thunderstorms.

Remainder south of monsoon trough.
Mostly variable winds 10 to 20 knots with slight to moderate seas. NE winds 20
to 25 knots southeast of 25S170E to 28S166E with moderate to rough seas.
Moderate E to SE swells. Moderate NW swells also north of 25S, west of 165E. 
Isolated showers.
