A Wind Warning is current between Cape Don and Cape Shield.

Synoptic Situation
A fresh to strong westerly monsoonal flow over coastal waters is expected to
gradually ease over the next day or so. The monsoon trough over land near
Tennant Creek is moving back north, reaching the southern Gulf of Carpentaria
waters early Tuesday.

Sunday until midnight: Westerly winds 15/20 knots. Seas to 2m on a 2m westerly
swell. Isolated storms with gusts to 40 knots.
Monday: Westerly winds 10/15 knots. Seas to 1.5m on a 2m abating westerly swell.
Isolated storms with gusts to 40 knots.
Tuesday Outlook: South/southwest winds 10/15 knots.
Wednesday Outlook: Southeast/southwest winds 10 knots.
